We are in immediate need of an IT Security Administrator! This long-term engagement is on-site in Dover, DE and includes our comprehensive benefits!
The IT Security Administrator will facilitate and manage security product awareness and implementation to various business and technical personnel and apply specific expertise to ensure that a security product meets the stated objectives.
Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility of an incumbent in this position is to ensure the availability and facilitate the productive use of a product for end users.
- The IT Security Administrator will coordinate between the State, local entity, and supplier to educate local entity IT and Security staff on particular security products including but not limited to network monitoring and end point detection and response products.
- Identify, track, and resolve or escalate issues to management as needed.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to multitask.
- Must be personable, a good listener, well organized, a proficient writer, and can actively manage and facilitate meetings with both technical and non-technical language.
- Microsoft Office skills are necessary.
- A leader in this position should have excellent time management skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
- 5 years of Customer Service Experience required.
- 3 years of Security Solutions Awareness and Implementation experience required.
- 3 years of Meeting Facilitation experience required.
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
