Calling all change-makers! Join CAI for a VIP experience on October 26th!
CAI invites you and a guest to a VIP event to recognize National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). The theme for NDEAM 2022 is “Disability: Part of the Equity Equation” to build awareness of the important role people with disabilities play in a diverse and inclusive workforce.
We’ll kick off the event with a brief discussion on the importance of neurodivergent individuals as part of the equity equation, then engage you with a special VIP experience to enjoy the rest of the evening.

The VIP experience
As a guest of CAI’s exclusive event, you’ll have the opportunity to smell the grain, see the shine of copper stills, and hear distillers at work as you are immersed in a modern factory. Sample award-winning whiskies and take a private tour of the historic production facility. Learn about the distillation process, the aging process, and how to taste and smell the bourbon. At the end of the night, take home a special thank you of a custom single barrel bottle of Detroit City Distillery's award-winning whiskey!
The Whiskey Factory—Detroit City Distillery
The Whiskey Factory is home to the Detroit City Distillery, creator of small batch artisanal whiskey, gin, and vodka sourced directly from farms near this 1930s historic location. The factory serves the revolutionaries of Detroit as well as the individuals supporting these change-makers—from corporate companies who value the city and its heritage, to the artists, entrepreneurs, and creatives who believe in Detroit—all who are a reminder of the soul of this great American city.
