ALLENTOWN, Pa., July 21, 2022 (BUSINESS WIRE)CAI, a global technology services firm, today announced it received the maximum score on the 2022 Disability Equality Index (DEI) and has been recognized as a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion” by Disability:IN. This is the second consecutive year the firm has achieved this score and designation.

CAI is committed to a disability-inclusive work environment, effective hiring practices and career mobility both internally and as a service offering to its clients. Since the company’s first DEI assessment, CAI’s Human Capital Management team has continued to improve workplace accessibility with new policies and benefit offerings. Public accountability was also made by Tom Salvaggio, President at CAI, when he signed the CEO Letter on Disability Inclusion.

The index was launched in 2015 by Disability:IN and The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and is acknowledged today as the most robust disability inclusion assessment tool in business.

Participating companies are measured on several criteria: Culture & Leadership; Enterprise-Wide Access; Employment Practices (Benefits, Recruitment, Employment, Education, Retention & Advancement, Accommodations); Community Engagement; Supplier Diversity; Non-U.S. Operations.
