
Derek Sager
Senior Vice President, Finance
Derek serves as CAI’s Senior Vice President, Finance. He is responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting operations including internal and external reporting, cash management, business planning, forecasting and analysis. He serves as the primary liaison on all audit and banking relations between the management team and our service providers.
Prior to joining CAI, Derek served as Senior Manager, Private Company Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He was responsible for management of financial statement audits covering complex and high-risk areas including the application of GAAP, and the preparation of financial statement reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS . He also served as a manager in the firms forensic advisory practice. In this role, he conducted corporate investigations and provided direct assistance to law firms to defend clients in securities litigation claims from the SEC and DOJ. Derek’s career spans more than 20 years of finance experience.
Derek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Lehigh University, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. He is also a member of the Workday Professional Services Advisory Board.
